Mission Committe Meeting Minutes

May 8th, 2007

The Mission Committee of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church met at 5:30 p.m. on May 8 in the Parish Hall.  Members present were the Reverend David Lemburg, Warden Celeste Sicard, Terry Rielley, Larry Coleman, and Mary Weems.  Ginger Coleman was also present.

Father David reported that he had talked with Ella Tardy and there were no significant changes in the budget.  He expressed concern that if pledges continue at the present rate we will not make budget for the year.

Declining attendance and possible reasons for the decline were discussed.

There will be no Christian Education meetings for the next two weeks.  Meetings will resume on May 29.

Celeste reported that Kaye Kerr is not interested in the Sunday school building.  It was decided to keep the building and use it for storage.  The decision to sell will be reevaluated again in a year.

It was decided to reimburse Marilyn Vockroth for pots she purchased for the garden area.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:30.
