Wanting Pictures

by Fr. David Lemburg

The new website wants your pictures of Holy Trinity, its people, its building, everything.

The new website has lots of words right now, but not as many images.  Since pictures are worth a thousand words, send us a couple thousand of your favorite "words" our way.  There is a different e-mail set up to help keep website stuff different from normal e-corrospondence.

It is a G-mail account.  There are many reasons for this, first it is free.  Second, and probably more important, G-mail is part of Google, Google has lots of free things that help our website set up.  The calender function of Google will power our calender, the picture software, Picasa2 will power our photos.   With Picasa2 we can have photo albums and sideshows right on our website!  This is all very exciting stuff for our mission church.

The "stuff" (i.e. the hardware, software, person to do it, etc) is all in place, we just need your pictures.

Some things to remember, if you submit a photo, we will probably use it.  So pick photos you would want to see on the website.  We can only put up "digital photos" that means if you are holding in your hand or a shoebox, we can't use it.  If it is a folder on your computer, we can use it.  Put it in a e-mail to us.  We also be taking suggestions are where to put your photos.  Please try to be specfic, Say Ministries/Altar Guild page, not just on the website. Thanks.
